In Syntactic Labyrinths mankind has spent 40 years living in the Settlement of Babylonia. This fortified bunker is the final surviving colony of humanity. Their purpose: preserve our collective knowledge by storing it in the Library. As they work together on their Magnum Opus, smaller attempts have been made at rebuilding life as we know it. Preserved seeds have been planted in UV-protected greenhouses. Most attempts were futile. But not all of them.
With the right formula of fertiliser and light-filtration, humanity made it possible to grow vegetation in these harsh conditions. This is a big win! As of now, there is no future for mankind. But for once there is hope that they will see the Library to completion.
This is the first render for scene 01, shot 10. It’s been great to finally put some assets together into a single scene and to match the storyboard and references. Every day I’m more excited about the completion of the film! We’re getting close!
