When she was three years old, Prisma’s mother died from a lung-related disease from working in the industrial complex since childhood. Prisma never knewn her father, and lived with his parents. She did not go to school, and worked in the same textile factory as her grandparents from the age of 5 onwards. Around the age of 12, she got herself an errand job, helping to transport goods from the factory to the docs. This is where she learned to drive scooters, motorcycles, cars and eventually vans and trucks. When her grandparents had passed away, Prisma was around 15 years old. It was around this time she snuck onboard a cargo ship heading to Europa, to find a better life for herself.
Prisma entered Europa through the South of France. With no money in her pocket, she lived on the streets for a while, exchanging errands for a bit of money, food or short stays. She continuously travelled from west to east, picking up odd jobs as she went, of which the pay seemed to increase the closer she got to the Alpine Districts.
The first stroke of luck Prisma ever experienced in her life was around the age of 17, when she ran a delivery errand to a teacher’s door. Elena Miéville was shocked to see a young girl without education walk in the streets, she took Prisma under her wing and later legally adopted the girl. Elena managed for Prisma to follow classes at the University of Geneva. There, she turned out to have a real knack for maths, and developed an interest in computer science.
Soon after her 18th birthday, Prisma landed a job at a Global tech company during one of their mass-hires. Prisma enjoyed the ability to blend in with the masses, at such a large company. She slowly started to enjoy the competitive, corporate landscape, and started to climb the ladder as she honed her skills. Forever avoiding managing positions, she was able to be involved in more and more complex coding projects, eventually specializing in white-hat hacking.
Prisma always prefers to keep it on the low-low. She doesn’t speak when not spoken to and is extremely observant of her surroundings. She is soft-spoken in nature, but also smart and quick-witted. Although she comes across as very reserved and calm, the gears in her head are always turning overtime. She can often surprise people with a burst of energy, when emotions run a little too high for her to contain herself. When Prisma feels safe and comfortable, she appears a lot less shy, often showing a quirky and eccentric side of herself.
Prisma works closely together with Ekster, maintaining the backend of his digital archive and building tools for upcoming heists. She will help to collect intel such as detecting security infrastructures, and find ways to intercept information and manipulate data. She tends to her coding skills as if they’re her lifeline, which they are, technically.
Prisma’s core personal motivations lay in being able to continuously clear more complicated challenges. Although she genuinely loves her job, the Club heists give her the thrill of real-world stakes. She thrives in this high-stress environment.
The other members of Heist Club often endearingly call her Pris. Everyone but Ekster, who treats everyone with an equally neutral attitude. Nevertheless, Prisma and Ekster get along exceptionally well, and enjoy each other’s silence during work. Driver, too, seems to understand a few things about Prisma’s past. Max might have a little secret crush on Prisma and Åke would literally jump in front of a bullet for her. Prisma often feels rather embarrassed from all the attention, and can appear a bit pissed off when she thinks they’re all acting ridiculous, although that makes her look only cuter. Although Dust’s and Mina’s extroverted personalities are her counter opposites, the three form a strong bond, often gossiping about and recapping the things that have happened. There are some things that only girls can understand, after all.
